How is payment of services taken care of?
Payment at the time of service is expected, and we accept all major credit cards, cash, or local checks. Fee amounts are variable based on the complexity and amount of services provided.
If you are using private insurance, we still request payment at the time of service, but will provide you with a Superbill that may be submitted to many health insurers for reimbursement (plan dependent). The Superbill has all the information that your insurance company will need from us in order to process your claim and reimburse you directly - if that is within their policy. We do not bill private insurance companies directly.
If you are on Medicare, we will request payment at the time of service, although we do bill Medicare for you. Medicare will then reimburse you directly. The reimbursement turn-around time on Medicare claims typically takes about three to four weeks.
If your health problems are resulting from a recent motor vehicle accident, we may be able to bill your auto insurance carrier directly for the charges. Please check with your own auto insurance carrier to verify whether you have open Medical Payments (MedPay) on your claim.
